Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Salary: $176,000–$183,500 base salary annually

What you will do

• Design, implement, deliver, and test application features while understanding product and business priorities.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and engineers to create working software.
• Solve complex technical problems and contribute to software architecture, development practices, and new technologies.
• Take technical responsibility for a feature set, including building experiences, managing technical debt, improving the platform, and increasing production system scale and performance.
• Contribute to software development lifecycle practices and lead within the team and organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in web development and 2+ years of practical experience in React web product development.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS, and Git.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, and engineering stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, testing pyramids, and CI/CD.
• Ability to investigate unfamiliar systems, solve problems, communicate technical ideas with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and teach others.
• Understanding of best practices for security, networking, concurrency, and UI development.
• Experience with application performance and debugging techniques.
• A college degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
