Web GUI Software Engineer (React)

Location: Santa Rosa, California, United States. Onsite role during normal business hours with 0–25% travel. Candidates must provide proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status under US export-control requirements.

Annual base salary: $70,304–$143,000 USD, depending on location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Design and develop modern web GUI applications for embedded and network-connected systems.
• Build secure, scalable user interfaces using React and related front-end technologies.
• Integrate client-side applications with REST APIs and client-server architectures.
• Apply secure software development practices and manage software vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum development workflows and contribute to CI/CD and automated testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2.5–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience developing web GUI applications with React.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with REST APIs, Git-based source control, debugging, analysis, and problem solving.
• Eligibility to access US export-controlled technology: US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cybersecurity-focused development, OWASP risks, and secure web application design.
• Familiarity with Black Duck, ZapTool, or similar security scanning tools.
• Experience developing secure software for embedded or network-connected systems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
