Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Location: New York, New York office; hybrid work

Base wage: $188,000–$242,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop frontend web applications for internal and public use.
• Gather requirements and partner with the team lead to create effective, on-brand user experiences.
• Implement designs with a high level of fidelity.
• Research design patterns and propose technical solutions to web UI/UX problems.
• Code, test, and deploy modern web applications.
• Help hire and develop the frontend engineering team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of frontend development experience.
• Mastery of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one frontend framework such as React or Vue.
• Working knowledge of at least one server-side language, such as Ruby, Python, or Golang.
• Experience designing reliable, modular customer-facing applications with attention to performance and security.
• Strong judgment, resourcefulness, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
