Finance and Regulatory Reporting Intern/Working Student (Italian Speaker) (m/f/x) (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Munich, Germany, with an office at Seitzstraße 8e, 80538 München-Altstadt-Lehel.

What you will do

• Support the end-to-end preparation and submission of financial and regulatory reports for the Italian bank branch, including balance sheet, P&L, and local Italian regulatory reporting.
• Take partial to full ownership of finance and regulatory reporting activities within interdisciplinary projects supporting the establishment and expansion of the Italian branch.
• Interpret and assess the financial impact of new accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Improve and automate financial controls, data quality, and reporting workflows with Italian experts and software engineers.
• Improve tax-related processes and services for Italian clients in collaboration with the Tax team and external advisors.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree programme, preferably focused on economics, business, finance, or banking.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Interest in working with financial data and using new AI tools.
• Solid command of software tools used in finance and regulatory reporting, including Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Italian.
