Senior Operations Excellence Consultant

Location: Remote - South Carolina; applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United States.

US base salary: $86,973.00–$130,460.00 per year.

What you will do

• Lead operational readiness and implementation initiatives for new products, services, enhancements, and strategic initiatives across Client Success.
• Identify operational requirements, dependencies, impacts, risks, and readiness gaps, and develop strategies supporting go/no-go decisions, risk mitigation, and successful adoption.
• Translate technical and business requirements, system dependencies, and integration considerations into scalable workflows, readiness plans, playbooks, runbooks, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate end-to-end readiness across Product, Engineering, Integration, Client Success, and other stakeholders without direct authority.
• Facilitate planning sessions, readiness reviews, implementation discussions, and cross-functional resolution of dependencies.
• Develop operational metrics, reporting, dashboards, and continuous-improvement recommendations, including evaluation of AI-enabled tools and automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in operational excellence, operational readiness, implementation, technical operations, program coordination, or a related operational discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Integration, and business teams in a technology or SaaS environment to lead complex operational initiatives without direct authority.
• At least 3 years of experience translating technical requirements, system dependencies, and integration considerations into scalable operational processes, readiness plans, and successful product launch, service enablement, or organizational change initiatives.
• At least 3 years of experience working in Agile or Kanban environments using Jira, Confluence, or similar work management platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, plus stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional planning sessions, operational readiness reviews, or implementation planning activities.
• Analytical, critical-thinking, systemic-thinking, organizational, planning, collaboration, adaptability, technical aptitude, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating operational impacts, organizational readiness, operational risks, and practical execution solutions.
• Experience in healthcare technology, payment integrity, or payer operations.
• Experience supporting technical implementations, system integrations, or SaaS product delivery.
• Familiarity with operational metrics, dashboard development, or executive reporting.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools for operational efficiency, documentation, reporting, or workflow automation.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or related operational excellence certifications.
