Staff Recruiter (Design & Specialized Tech)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, with approximately 2–3 days per week in the office; the San Francisco expectation covers the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.

Salary: $168,000–$190,000 annual cash compensation for the San Francisco Bay Area.

What you will do

• Run specialized, sourcing-first searches from pre-search strategy through offer acceptance and post-hire retrospectives across design levels and disciplines.
• Recruit across Product Design, Design Systems, Content Design, UX Research, Service Design, Brand Studio, Creative, and Design Operations, while flexing into Product Management, Data, and other technical searches.
• Advise hiring leaders through market mapping, calibration sessions, data-backed recommendations, and trade-offs involving level, location, and compensation.
• Build cross-functional partnerships across compensation, People teams, candidate experience, and recruiting operations.
• Use and build AI-enabled approaches for sourcing, market analysis, interview preparation, and team-wide recruiting effectiveness.
• Build the San Francisco design community by attending and hosting local events and developing relationship-based pipelines.

Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across specialized technology, including meaningful experience specializing in design recruiting.
• Hands-on AI-native recruiting experience across sourcing, market mapping, and interview preparation, including building agents or SKILLs that scale effective practices across a team.
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with People teams and business partners.
• Experience partnering with leaders at every level and communicating with credibility in varied audiences.
• Ability to read, research, and interpret data across multiple tools and turn it into clear search actions and recommendations.
• Strong sourcing skills, including identifying, finding, assessing, and building always-on pipelines of high-quality talent across diverse backgrounds.
• Bias for action and resilience when searches become difficult.
• Ability to work hybrid in the San Francisco or San Jose metro area, with regular and predictable office attendance.
