Project Buyer (Energy Projects)

Location: Milan, Italy; based at the Milan HQ with remote work flexibility.

Gross annual salary: no less than €48,000, plus an individual or collective variable incentive based on predetermined performance objectives.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end subcontracting activities in EPCI projects across the assigned region and/or category.
• Develop subcontracting strategies aligned with project schedules, installation sequences, and risk mitigation plans.
• Optimize cost structures while maintaining service reliability under tight project timelines.
• Monitor vendor performance through KPIs, lead the scouting and development of new local vendors, and manage critical escalations.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, and Operations to align procurement with project execution.
• Ensure contractual compliance covering insurance clauses, liabilities, delivery terms, and project-specific requirements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in procurement or closely related fields.
• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Economics.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge of contractual templates and principles.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, decision-making, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork skills with a results-oriented and ambitious mindset.

• Italian and German language skills.
