AI Senior Backend Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful or gRPC APIs for AI/ML model deployment.
• Transform AI prototypes into secure, maintainable, production-ready cloud applications.
• Optimize backend performance for high-throughput, low-latency inference and data retrieval.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions with procurement systems and business analytics platforms.
• Develop data pipelines for ingestion, preprocessing, and storage of structured and unstructured procurement data.
• Implement CI/CD, monitoring, security, governance, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes-based microservices orchestration.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional backend software engineering experience, including at least 2 years integrating and scaling AI/ML models.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Advanced Python backend development with FastAPI, Flask, and Django.
• Experience with microservices, RESTful and gRPC APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Apache Airflow, and Spark.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Terraform.
• Industry-recognized AWS and Azure developer certifications, including AWS Certified Developer – Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
