Director, Global Account Procurement Lead

Location: Remote; Creve Coeur, Missouri, USA, or Austin, Texas, USA

Salary: $136,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the global procurement relationship across the client, account management, regional procurement, operations, suppliers, and corporate stakeholders.
• Set and maintain the global procurement and strategic sourcing strategy, aligning it with the client account plan and regional delivery.
• Lead high-complexity and cross-regional sourcing projects and RFPs, including analysis, negotiation, and recommendations.
• Oversee global contracting, contract compliance, supplier governance, supplier performance, and material risk escalation.
• Consolidate global reporting, savings, value delivery, supplier performance, and QBR content from regional teams.
• Provide functional leadership across regional procurement teams, promote capability development, and use data, analytics, AI, and digital procurement technologies to improve performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Procurement and Strategic Sourcing, including experience supporting complex, multi-country or global client accounts.
• Experience in facility services or a related discipline.
• Experience developing procurement strategies, leading complex sourcing programmes, and working effectively in a global matrix organisation.
• Experience engaging senior client and internal stakeholders and influencing geographically dispersed procurement teams.
• Proficiency in strategic sourcing processes and e-tools such as e-RFPs, reverse auctions, e-catalogs, and contract management systems.
• Legal knowledge and the ability to prepare and negotiate agreements and amendments and explain contract specifics to clients.
• Analytical, quantitative, communication, interpersonal, leadership, influencing, presentation, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead through a matrix structure, align multiple regions, manage executive stakeholders, consolidate reporting, validate value, and translate spend, market, supplier performance, and value data into strategic recommendations.
