Capital Markets Associate (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, four days per week in the New York City office, United States

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 base salary per year, plus stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Support the structuring, execution, and management of warehouse financing facilities, including borrowing base analysis, covenant compliance, collateral eligibility, lender reporting, and renewals.
• Support asset-backed securitizations across structuring, collateral analysis, cash flow modeling, rating agency processes, investor diligence, documentation, and settlement.
• Manage analytical activities for loan sale and forward flow programs, including pricing, collateral selection, purchase mechanics, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Build financial models covering funding costs, advance rates, excess spread, cash flows, returns, liquidity, and capital efficiency.
• Evaluate and onboard financing partners while maintaining relationships with banks, insurers, asset managers, and private credit funds.
• Analyze originations, credit characteristics, delinquencies, losses, and prepayments, and collaborate with Finance, Credit, Accounting, Legal, Engineering, and Data teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, fintech, financial services, consulting, or corporate finance.
• Advanced Excel skills, strong SQL skills for querying large datasets, and experience building data-driven financial reports.
• Strong quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, attention to detail, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate across functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work four days per week from the New York City office in a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Python proficiency.
• Experience using AI and automation tools for financial modeling, data integrity, reporting, or diligence workflows.
