Branch Manager (Business Banking)

Location: Onsite in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

Salary: $74,600–$124,400 annual USD.

What you will do

• Manage branch activities, operating performance, profitability, annual goals, customer experience, employee experience, digital engagement, transactions, servicing, and sales.
• Lead, coach, develop, evaluate, and staff branch employees, including interviewing, selection, performance management, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations.
• Identify retail and business banking needs, grow business banking relationships through outreach and outside calling, and build the bank’s community presence.
• Ensure compliance with consumer and business banking requirements, operational, security, control, fraud-prevention, audit, and regulatory standards.
• Own complex account servicing and error-resolution issues through completion, including escalations from other bankers, and coach staff to reduce recurring issues.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000, bundle products and services, maintain SAFE Act registration requirements, and build partnerships across the bank.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and at least two years of managerial experience or proven leadership abilities.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• M&T Way Certified and Precision Leadership Certified.
• Ability to use common PC software, including Microsoft Office for word processing and spreadsheets.
• Maintain federal SAFE Act registration requirements and stay current on operational, product, and system changes.
• Maintain insurance licensing minimum expectations; Life/Accident and Health Insurance licensing may be required within 18 months of entry, with branch training provided within six months.
• Complete the M&T Business Banking Specialist requirements within 18 months of hire.
