Navigation System Architect (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design multi-system navigation functions for ongoing major projects and future systems under ATA 34.
• Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary networks across Airbus, including Systems Design Office and In-Service Support, as well as external suppliers.
• Define and improve navigation architectures to ensure resilience against jamming, spoofing, and future risks while addressing operational needs.
• Develop precise positioning solutions using hybridization and sensor fusion.
• Apply functional architecture principles and account for emerging technologies and user needs.

Requirements

• Engineering degree from a university or engineering school.
• Professional experience in navigation systems under ATA 34, including GPS and IRS.
• Knowledge of aircraft navigation architectures and contributing systems, including ADIRS, MMR, and FMS.
• Knowledge of aeronautical system and equipment design processes and standards, including ABD0100/ABD0200, ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-178, and DO-254.
• Fluent English.
• Synthesis skills and strong technical writing abilities.
• Leadership, proactivity, autonomy, and a positive, collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills.
