Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or an equivalent technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting military communications or network systems acquisition and/or operations.
  • 5+ years in development, research, or advanced engineering environments supporting government programs, plus 5+ years interfacing directly with senior stakeholders and contributing to requirements development and technical decision-making.
  • Experience in a SETA, SEIT, FFRDC, or government advisory role supporting space and/or networked systems.
  • Expertise developing networking CONOPS and technical requirements for military or government systems.
  • Strong understanding of MILSATCOM architectures, backhaul services, ground systems, and enterprise network integration.
  • Knowledge of DoD network environments, including transport, routing, switching, and enterprise services, with the ability to independently analyze contractor solutions.
  • Ability to coordinate with senior government, DISA, and industry stakeholders and prepare technical briefs, recommendations, and decision-support materials.
