Sr. Network Engineer III (Cisco)

Location: Washington, DC, United States. Employment requires verification of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Salary: $150,000–$253,000 per year, with potential performance-based bonuses and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network solutions for federal government customers.
• Provide senior-level engineering support for secure, reliable, and scalable mission-critical networks.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for routing, switching, and complex network issues.
• Manage high-availability, high-performance network backbones and support optimal performance and availability.
• Contribute to Agile delivery and develop solutions that support customer trust and mission success.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• CCNP Enterprise certification required.
• 10+ years of network engineering experience with hands-on responsibility for core enterprise routing and switching infrastructure.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, software-defined WAN architectures, Peplink products, VLANs, STP, and Layer 2 technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR, ISR, Catalyst, and Nexus platforms, including network traffic analysis.
• A technical bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
