Value Realization Lead (Retail)

Location: Málaga, Spain; work from the Málaga office, hybrid, or fully remote from home.

What you will do

• Own the Fit for Future value approach, translating programme ambitions into quantified value cases and value-driver trees covering revenue growth, cost savings, stock optimisation, operational efficiency, and risk reduction.
• Develop and maintain programme business and investment cases with Finance, aligning assumptions with budget planning and ROI.
• Establish value governance, decision rights, benefit ownership, reporting cadence, and stakeholder alignment across Business, Tech, and PMO.
• Define KPI standards, formulas, data sources, owners, baselines, and targets, and oversee new KPI implementation.
• Build and run value-tracking dashboards, monitor benefits against plan, and report outcomes and gaps to the SteerCo and senior stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies, embed value realization into change, adoption, and PMO processes, hand benefits over to BAU owners, and conduct ad-hoc value analysis.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, influencing, relationship-building, and trust-building skills at all organisational levels.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI assessment for large-scale digital transformation programmes.
• Ability to measure and track financial value from digital transformation initiatives, including cost savings, revenue growth, and improved efficiency.
• Proficiency in tracking and analysing business performance indicators and KPIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and financial performance management for large-scale transformation projects.
• Experience working closely with Finance and business teams and working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
