Salary: $141,300–$240,200 annually.

Company

hirify.global develops inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics for semiconductor manufacturing, including AI, data centers, automotive, and electronic devices.

What you will do

  • Define product and subsystem requirements, specifications, feasibility studies, design risks, and tradeoffs.
  • Develop conceptual and detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and 3D CAD models using tools such as Pro/ENGINEER or Creo.
  • Perform fluid, thermal, vibration, finite element, and tolerance stack-up analyses, applying GD&T principles.
  • Lead design reviews and coordinate prototype component procurement, assembly, integration, and testing.
  • Execute system-level integration and verification testing; create assembly instructions and test procedures.
  • Prepare release documentation, hand off designs to manufacturing, collaborate with optics, systems, manufacturing, service engineering, and suppliers, and resolve product issues throughout the lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with 2+ years of work experience, or bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of work experience.
  • Experience with precision mechanical design involving large and complex tolerance stack-ups.
  • Experience designing for ultra-high vacuum environments.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of machining, welding, sheet metal forming, additive manufacturing, and cast-component fabrication.
  • Knowledge of precision machine design, statics, mechanics of materials, fluid flow, heat transfer, machine elements, materials, and fabrication methods.
  • Hands-on 3D CAD modeling experience; Creo or SolidWorks preferred.
  • Experience with opto-mechanical systems, vacuum systems, inspection equipment, instrumentation, motion control, electronics, tooling and test fixtures, supplier management, new product introduction, or manufacturing support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced semiconductor development environment.

Culture & Benefits

  • Collaborative work with optics, systems, manufacturing, service engineering, and supplier teams.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, voluntary benefits, and 401(k) with company matching.
  • Employee stock purchase program, student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement, and career development programs.
  • Financial planning, wellness, paid time off, paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.
