What you will do

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, specifications, tooling, fixtures, and related processes.
• Design solutions that support the handling, assembly, and disassembly of components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
• Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests and analysis.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, develop suppliers, and generate mechanical product specifications.
• Coordinate procurement, manufacturing, installation, and assembly of mechanical components while maintaining applicable standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
• Knowledge of GD&T, flow analysis, and Design for Excellence principles.
• Work is based in Santa Clara, California, United States.
