Software Engineer – GCS Team

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Tel Aviv District, Israel

Develops and operates large-scale drone food delivery across US cities.

What you will do

• Build and own backend features end-to-end, including design, coding, testing, rollout, and production follow-up.
• Develop systems for mission state machines, route planning, airspace deconfliction, fleet operations, and operator tooling.
• Investigate production failures, including incidents occurring during flights, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Scale distributed, event-driven systems from a small number of sites to a national delivery network.
• Ship quickly while maintaining a high safety standard for airborne operations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on backend experience, or strong graduation-level capability demonstrated through serious side projects.
• Solid computer science fundamentals, including the ability to reason about concurrency, state, and failure modes.
• Ability and willingness to write tests to verify code correctness.
• Curiosity, direct communication, comfort with ambiguity, willingness to ask questions and challenge unclear decisions, and ownership of work without waiting for assignment.

Nice to have

• Background in robotics, aviation, simulation, or another field involving physical-world systems.
