Senior Software Engineer (Autonomous Command & Control Platform)

What you will do

• Design and build software systems for autonomous platform operations and Command & Control.
• Translate operational requirements and domain concepts into robust architectures, entities, relationships, states, events, commands, and workflows.
• Lead system design across services, communication layers, and domain boundaries.
• Build scalable, low-latency, resilient production services and reliable messaging flows between distributed components.
• Develop abstraction layers, SDKs, APIs, and reusable infrastructure for heterogeneous autonomous devices and external systems.
• Improve observability, debugging, operational reliability, engineering practices, and code quality.

Requirements

• Strong experience building complex production software systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, or C++.
• Strong software engineering, system design, and architecture fundamentals.
• Experience with distributed, event-driven, or real-time systems, including concurrency, networking, messaging, state management, and failure handling.
• Experience modeling entities, relationships, states, events, and workflows, and using technologies such as RabbitMQ, gRPC, WebSockets, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and coding agents for designing, developing, debugging, and improving software; strong ownership and independent problem-solving skills.
