Supplier Management Analyst

Location: Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom; hybrid working arrangement

What you will do

• Maintain the quarterly Supplier Risk Register, identify financial, commercial, ethical and supply continuity risks, and support mitigation plans.
• Manage supplier records, contracts, certifications and compliance documentation, supporting onboarding, audits and governance reviews.
• Track, analyse and report supplier ESG performance and monitor relevant legislation and industry best practice.
• Support tenders, RFP preparation, supplier evaluations, negotiations and contract renewals.
• Analyse procurement spend, prepare supplier and category reports, and identify cost reduction or value creation opportunities.
• Build dashboards and reports, use analytical and AI-enabled tools to monitor risk, and support cross-functional process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Supplier Management or a related business function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to manage data, work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and handle multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of supplier onboarding, supplier governance, ESG reporting or sustainability initiatives.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, supplier audits, procurement or ERP systems.
• CIPS qualification or willingness to work towards one.
