Senior Platform Engineer

Location: France; fully remote

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate the Kubernetes platform, including networking, ingress, GitOps, and configuration management.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and packaging with automation from provisioning through deployment.
• Operate observability systems for large-scale metrics and log management, and maintain runbooks and the alerting catalogue.
• Operate distributed storage, analytical and relational databases, and in-memory data stores.
• Scale physical infrastructure through server procurement, rack upgrades, network capacity planning, and cost optimization.
• Lead platform architecture decisions, mentor junior team members, and contribute to infrastructure expansion in the US.

Requirements

• 5+ years of infrastructure or DevOps experience with solid production Kubernetes experience, ideally on bare metal.
• Automation-first approach to provisioning, configuration management, and GitOps.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including BGP, L2/L3, and load balancing.
• Strong communication skills with product teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication.
• Openness to AI-assisted tooling for automation, documentation, and daily workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed storage or large-scale databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot at kernel, network, and hardware level.
• French language skills.
