Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Oslo, Norway; hybrid. Monday and Friday are remote days. A valid work permit for Norway is required.

What you will do

• Operate Kubernetes on AWS as the foundation of the platform.
• Build AI-powered tooling for SRE automation, root-cause analysis, and cloud-agent-assisted development.
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using ArgoCD and CircleCI.
• Build self-service infrastructure and developer tooling covering onboarding, access, deployment, and service operations.
• Improve reliability through observability, monitoring, and incident response practices.
• Collaborate with product teams, establish paved paths, and advocate for platform best practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes and working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience building AI-powered tooling or agent-enabled capabilities, or a strong interest in developing in this area.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar tools.
• Experience building CI/CD foundations and shared deployment tooling.
• Comfort with at least one backend language; JVM services and Go platform tooling are used.
• Strong ownership, communication, documentation, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing skills.
