Location: On-site daily in the Sterling, Virginia area; periodic CONUS travel is required. U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI clearance with polygraph are required before the start date.

Salary: $77,000–$163,000 per year.

What you will do

• Perform warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, shipping, transportation, data entry, and audits.
• Pack large and small shipments and crate or palletize accountable equipment.
• Create property and material catalog entries, record receipts and issues, conduct physical inventories, and maintain inventory tracking systems.
• Manage government property and consumable materials in accordance with FAR Part 45 and FAR 52.245-1.
• Perform property disposition activities for government property and accountable assets.
• Coordinate periodic CONUS travel to manage off-site shipments and logistics functions, while communicating with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Active, transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI clearance with polygraph before the start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience packing shipments and crating or palletizing accountable equipment.
• Ability to meet warehouse physical demands, including bending, squatting, twisting, climbing ladders, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Ability to operate forklifts, powered and manual pallet jacks, carts, power tools, and hand tools; training is available.
• Strong familiarity with government property and material tracking systems, including catalog creation, receipt recording, physical inventory, system updates, and property issuance.
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 45 and FAR 52.245-1 processes and familiarity with government property disposition procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience creating documents required for government shipments.
• Experience participating in Contractor Self Assessments related to property management system implementation.
• University degree or equivalent experience; the posting typically references a degree and at least 2 years of prior relevant experience.
