Logistics Manager (Defense)

Location: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Develop and execute logistics, acquisition, lifecycle, and sustainment plans across program phases.
• Coordinate with Product Support Managers, Material Support Managers, government stakeholders, contractors, engineers, and joint or coalition partners.
• Analyze requirements for funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services, and align resources with program objectives.
• Prepare logistics metrics, sustainment reviews, program assessments, briefings, schedules, and acquisition documentation.
• Conduct Business Case Analyses, trade studies, market research, Analysis of Alternatives, and related logistics analyses.
• Support supply chain management, asset visibility, system delivery, deployment planning, depot activation, and sustainment transitions.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in the Department of Defense, or 7 years of directly related experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
• Experience with lifecycle logistics, sustainment planning, logistics metrics, acquisition planning, and program documentation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, time-management, and independent execution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for reports, planning documents, analyses, and presentations.
