Legal Counsel (Fintech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with 2 recommended office days per week. Remote work is permitted under a workation policy for up to 90 days per year in the EU, including up to 21 days globally; non-EU citizens may work worldwide for up to 21 days per year.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day legal support to hirify.global Pay’s licensed entities and local teams in Lithuania, Luxembourg and the UK.
• Advise Product and Engineering teams on new features, launches, risks and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and translate partner requirements into product and process updates.
• Draft and maintain user terms, legal documentation and localized legal wording in user flows.
• Monitor regulatory developments and convert them into business actions.
• Lead legal projects and product initiatives while collaborating with Legal, Compliance and local entity leadership.

Requirements

• Very strong legal background in payments or fintech, including EMI or PSP environments, marketplaces, or regulated financial services law firms.
• Experience with regulated payments; marketplace payments experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Comfort working with stakeholders across teams, entities and countries.
• Pragmatic, commercially minded and confident in a fast-paced international environment.
