Director, Merchant Experience - Strategy & Operations

Location: United States — Remote

Salary: $197,200–$290,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead the strategy and execution of merchant support after merchants go live on the platform.
• Transform merchant support into a tech-first, scalable, and seamless experience.
• Develop solutions that reduce operational friction and improve merchant satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
• Use data-driven decision-making and business judgment to launch and implement new merchant initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, operations, marketing, sales, finance, and analytics teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, banking, or technology, including transformation leadership in complex environments.
• Experience managing teams and leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, curiosity, and ability to operate in ambiguous situations.
• Analytical skills, including the ability to pull data in SQL or model in Excel.
• Clear communication and relationship-building skills across teams and organizational levels.
