Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Healthcare)

Location: New York City office with a hybrid schedule requiring three days of in-office work per week; Thursdays are required in-office days

Base pay: $180,504–$236,911 per year, plus potential equity grants and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Build the long-term operational roadmap for provider operations and experience.
• Lead large, cross-functional work groups and high-visibility operational programs.
• Drive process optimization, standardization, operationalization, and root cause analysis.
• Measure and monitor operational performance to reduce operational and financial risk.
• Develop executive reporting on programs, projects, and strategic provider contracting initiatives.
• Partner with the People team on organizational structure and change management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operations, business strategy, or project management.
• 4+ years of experience in a high-growth environment.
• Experience leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives within a healthcare organization.
• Strong critical-thinking, information synthesis, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clarity and confidence to key stakeholders.
• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Nice to have

• Management consulting experience.
• 4+ years of experience managing a team.
