Senior Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid work in New York City, United States, with time prioritized in the office

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Lead engineering efforts for the hirify.globalWorks B2B distribution platform.
• Build partner onboarding, employee eligibility and enrollment, identity, authentication, and third-party integration capabilities.
• Develop lifecycle communications and operational tools for employer partners.
• Architect and implement services using AI coding assistants as an Agent Conductor.
• Own end-to-end software delivery from inception through production, including testing, profiling, instrumentation, and code review.
• Continuously deploy and scale services on cloud-based infrastructure for a growing user base.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on daily experience with AI tools such as Cursor or ChatGPT.
• Strong experience writing pragmatic, maintainable Go and working across services and codebases.
• Experience designing APIs and integrating external systems.
• Understanding of production operations, observability, security, and reliability.
• Ability to collaborate with product, operations, marketing, and partner-facing teams while balancing rapid delivery with scalability.

Nice to have

• Experience building applications at scale.
• Familiarity with or interest in Consul, multi-region systems, and multi-cloud design.
• Experience with Spinnaker, CI/CD pipelines, Nginx, TypeScript, React, Node, Postgres, SNS/SQS, or AWS.
