Customer Success Architect, Public Sector

Location: Remote within the United States; role associated with Austin, Texas

Salary: $86,400–$139,700 annually, plus potential bonus and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Advise government agencies, defense organizations, and public sector institutions on adopting, integrating, scaling, and optimizing security solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for security portfolio deployments, technical requirements, automation scripting, and operational guidance.
• Align security architectures with FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, CMMC, and Zero Trust requirements.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Solutions Engineering teams to represent customer needs and resolve mission-critical incidents.
• Create knowledge base articles, deployment guides, and playbooks for scalable customer enablement.
• Conduct architectural reviews and maturity assessments across XDR, SIEM, SOAR, and cloud security environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, or Cyber Incident Response.
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments.
• Understanding of public sector IT environments, procurement workflows, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, GCP, and public sector cloud security use cases.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript for API integrations and security orchestration automation.
• Experience managing public sector technical stakeholders and communicating complex cybersecurity concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with Attack Surface Management, CNAPP, or ZTNA in public sector architectures.
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, PCNSC, or PCSAE certification.
• Military experience.
