IT Analyst (Kubernetes)

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; onsite at the SEL corporate office

Salary: $82,000–$122,900 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, secure, monitor, troubleshoot, and support enterprise IT systems.
• Identify and mitigate infrastructure risks while performing capacity planning and improving system reliability.
• Develop automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for application, infrastructure, and configuration deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on provisioning, monitoring, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized workloads and Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• At least 2 years of related experience in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of IT methods, practices, procedures, and policies.
• Experience or working knowledge of automation, Infrastructure as Code, Git-based workflows, automated testing, containerization, and orchestration platforms.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation and provide excellent customer service.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent IT experience.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL, or similar technologies.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and using configuration management or Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, version control, and collaborative software development practices.
• Technical knowledge of manufacturing or engineering processes and experience mentoring IT interns or associates.
