Talent Operations Manager, Technology (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Boston, Massachusetts, or Seattle, Washington, United States; three days on-site per week Tuesday–Thursday, with remote work on Monday and Friday.

Annual base salary: USD 103,500–115,000, with potential additional equity, bonuses, commissions, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and operations for Technology learning and development programs, including onboarding, technical and AI skills, manager enablement, and career development.
• Run performance and promotion operations, including the Technical Review Process, planning, training, communications, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the AI automation roadmap across learning, performance, promotions, reporting, onboarding, and team operations.
• Partner with Technology, Talent, People Operations, data, security, privacy, and platform teams to design, test, launch, and scale workflow-automation solutions.
• Build operating mechanisms including project plans, dashboards, decision logs, OKR processes, business reviews, stakeholder communications, and risk tracking.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to measure program impact, diagnose issues, prioritize improvements, and support leadership decisions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in program management, talent management, learning and development, people operations, HR transformation, or a related business-facing role.
• Experience owning complex, multi-stakeholder programs from strategy and design through execution, measurement, and iteration.
• Experience running performance management, promotions, calibration, talent review, learning programs, or comparable high-volume talent processes.
• Practical experience designing or improving workflow automations or AI-enabled processes and translating user needs into technical requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, advanced Google Sheets or Excel proficiency, and experience building metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Strong project-management, communication, facilitation, change-management, judgment, and confidentiality skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS and talent systems, learning platforms, survey tools, project-management tools, or BI/reporting tools.
• Experience with n8n or similar workflow-automation platforms, no-code or low-code tools, AI copilots or agents, and prompt or workflow design.
• Familiarity with responsible-AI practices, including human review, quality measurement, privacy, security, and change management.
• Experience supporting global or distributed teams and working in a technology, digital product, engineering, or other technical environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Learning and Development, Communications, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
