Strategic Project Lead (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; onsite five days per week

Base salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year; approximately $300,000 OTE including profit share

What you will do

• Own client engagements from data requirements through final delivery.
• Act as the primary contact for AI lab researchers and translate their needs into clear data specifications.
• Coordinate with platform engineering and expert sourcing teams.
• Manage technical experts producing code-generation data.
• Run quality assurance and quality checks across delivered datasets.
• Track industry news and research to identify high-value datasets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience owning client relationships independently from start to finish.
• Technical background in software engineering or computer science, or an alternative background in entrepreneurship, banking, consulting, or early-stage startup operations.
• High agency, bias to action, fast learning, and comfort working under ambiguity.
• Strong work ethic, stamina for a demanding project-based environment, and exceptional attention to detail.
• High integrity and a collaborative, low-ego approach.
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco five days per week.
