Senior Supply Chain Operations Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States. The role involves access to ITAR-controlled information and items; the hired candidate must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.

Salary: $130,000–$165,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards for inventory, material flow, supplier performance, and supply chain KPIs.
• Build a metrics framework connecting supply chain measures to company and program goals.
• Audit and validate part masters, bills of materials, lead times, costs, and inventory records across ERP, MRP, WMS, and PLM systems.
• Model material movement between warehouses, stocking locations, and production sites to improve flow, transit time, and handling costs.
• Identify logistics bottlenecks, redundant movements, and capacity constraints, and propose process improvements.
• Partner with procurement, operations, finance, engineering, suppliers, and supplier development teams on cost, sourcing, inventory, and delivery decisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain engineering, supply chain analytics, or operations within hardware or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience extracting, cleaning, and analyzing data from ERP, MRP, and MES systems.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Excel or Google Sheets, and at least one visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, including min/max levels, reorder points, lead times, and BOM structures.
• Experience defining KPIs and building dashboards or scorecards used by leadership.
• Must be a U.S. person under ITAR rules or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, data analytics, or mathematics.
• Startup or fast-growing company experience, especially building tools and processes from scratch.
• Experience using Python for automation or modeling.
