Senior General Ledger Accountant (SaaS)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year, plus bonus; compensation may vary by physical location.

What you will do

• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, VAT reconciliations, and intercompany transfer pricing.
• Own accounting for capitalized software under ASC 350-40 and support multi-entity and international transactions.
• Assist with financial statements, flux analysis, reporting, FP&A support, and management inquiries.
• Apply US GAAP, maintain internal controls and accounting processes, and support procedure and system improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, resolve reconciling items, and assist external auditors during the annual audit.
• Mentor and review the work of junior accounting staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance with an accounting emphasis.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and accrual-basis accounting.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, including multi-entity, intercompany, and international accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong aptitude for accounting and business software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Must be located in the United States for this remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience in software or SaaS.
• Experience with a large ERP system; NetSuite experience is a plus.
