Accounting Manager – Revenue Accounting (SaaS)

Location: Sandy, Utah, USA — hybrid, with two days in the office per week

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Accountants supporting the CXone line of business.
• Own monthly and quarterly revenue close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, revenue schedules, and financial reporting deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance on complex revenue arrangements, contract reviews, ASC 606, and US GAAP.
• Research technical accounting matters, prepare accounting memoranda, and document accounting conclusions.
• Coordinate external audit requests and collaborate with Finance, Accounting, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support implementation of a new revenue recognition system and improve controls, automation, documentation, and reporting processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue recognition in a SaaS, subscription software, or similarly complex recurring-revenue environment.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606, US GAAP, subscription revenue arrangements, close processes, and financial reporting.
• Experience in a publicly traded company or similarly complex accounting environment.
• People management experience or demonstrated leadership of accounting teams, processes, or significant workstreams.
• Experience with technical accounting research, accounting memoranda, external audits, and monthly or quarterly close activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA certification.
• Public accounting or Big Four experience.
• Experience as a Revenue Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Senior Revenue Accountant with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with ERP implementations, revenue recognition systems, accounting automation, or financial systems transformation.
• Experience with complex revenue arrangements, contract modifications, or multiple-element software and subscription agreements.
