Hardware FP&A Manager (Automotive)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $147,000–$236,000 per year for roles based in Mountain View, CA, plus annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with Hardware, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain organizations as a Finance Business Partner.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and expense forecasting across operational teams.
• Build financial models, metrics, and reporting frameworks to improve transparency, accountability, and decision-making.
• Analyze multi-year autonomy hardware development and vehicle manufacturing initiatives.
• Recommend strategies for capital and resource deployment and track performance against expectations.
• Prepare data-driven presentations and recommendations for senior leadership and the C-suite.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant Finance experience at large or fast-growing companies.
• Significant experience in manufacturing, hardware, automotive, aerospace, heavy industrial, or similarly complex operating environments.
• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency with modern FP&A and ERP tools, particularly Pigment and NetSuite.
• Strong analytical, communication, and financial modeling skills, including building complex models from the ground up.

Nice to have

• CFA or MBA.
• Expert-level Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides skills.
• Familiarity with Coupa, Plex, Oracle, SAP, or additional financial systems.
