Senior FP&A Analyst

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates based on the East Coast or able to work substantial East Coast hours are preferred.

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 USD annually, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Own headcount planning, forecasting, budget tracking, hiring timing, and compensation assumptions.
• Manage COGS forecasting, variance analysis, marketing spend monitoring, and budget-versus-actual reviews.
• Support the weekly ARR forecast by gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and identifying changes.
• Prepare accurate financial slides, executive materials, Board materials, and written performance narratives.
• Partner with department leaders and Accounting on spending reviews, month-end close, accruals, and variance explanations.
• Improve FP&A processes, reporting workflows, templates, and AI-assisted analytical practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience in FP&A, forecasting, headcount planning, budget management, and variance analysis.
• Ability to independently manage recurring financial processes and deliver accurate work with limited supervision.
• Strong spreadsheet and financial modeling skills, including work with large or imperfect datasets.
• Excellent data integrity, analytical judgment, and ability to explain business performance clearly in writing.
• Comfort partnering with department leaders, challenging assumptions, and investigating inconsistencies.
• Must be based in the United States; substantial East Coast working-hours overlap is preferred.
