IT Engineer

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; in-office four days per week

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable IT solutions that improve employee productivity and security across global offices.
• Administer core IT and SaaS systems, including Okta, Kolide, Iru, Google Workspace, Notion, and Slack.
• Build automations and integrations for onboarding, access management, device operations, support, and employee lifecycle changes.
• Manage the macOS device fleet, asset lifecycle, endpoint protection, patching, compliance monitoring, conference room technology, and A/V systems.
• Partner with Security, People, Workplace, Engineering, and external IT support providers to deliver reliable employee services.
• Use AI tools to improve troubleshooting, scripting, documentation, architecture, workflows, and self-service resources.

Requirements

• 3+ years of increasing IT experience at high-growth technology companies.
• Hands-on Okta administration, including SSO, provisioning, lifecycle workflows, and least-privilege access.
• Experience with AI tools, scripting, APIs, workflow automation, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
• Experience managing Mac-based environments, employee device assets, SaaS applications, vendors, and external service providers.
• Knowledge of IT security and compliance best practices, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be willing to work from the San Francisco office four days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building internal tools and applications or working with zero-trust security frameworks.
• Knowledge of corporate networking, office infrastructure planning, SOC 2, ISO, or related compliance frameworks.
• Okta, Google Workspace, Cisco, or other relevant technology certifications.
