Senior IT Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in the San Francisco, California headquarters, with two days per week in the office

Salary: $157,000–$239,000 per year

What you will do

• Own and improve IT infrastructure across identity, endpoints, SaaS applications, employee lifecycle management, office technology, and asset management.
• Build automation, AI agents, and system integrations that reduce repetitive manual work and support scalable IT operations.
• Manage the macOS endpoint fleet, including provisioning, configuration, compliance, patching, and inventory.
• Establish operational standards for monitoring, documentation, change management, and incident response.
• Eliminate recurring sources of employee friction by identifying underlying systems issues and implementing durable solutions.
• Partner with Security, People, Finance, Engineering, vendors, and the CISO to mature the IT program and progressively take ownership of the function.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, corporate infrastructure, systems engineering, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience administering identity, endpoint, SaaS, and employee productivity systems.
• Experience managing macOS fleets with modern endpoint management tools.
• Strong scripting, automation, and API integration skills.
• Understanding of security fundamentals and experience working with Security organizations.
• Ability to solve ambiguous operational problems, communicate with technical and non-technical users, and work across laptops, networks, conference rooms, and office infrastructure.
