GPU Validation Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based at an hirify.global site in Folsom, California, with additional US locations in Phoenix, Santa Clara, Hillsboro, and Austin

Annual salary range: $122,440–$232,190 USD

What you will do

• Define, develop, and execute GPU validation methodologies covering media, display, and system-level feature interactions.
• Build and test GPU emulation and prototyping models.
• Perform silicon debug, identify root causes, and resolve functional and triage failures.
• Develop and maintain post-silicon validation infrastructure, including performance monitors, behavioral checkers, and test environments.
• Validate performance, power, and area targets using hardware and software tools, and assess the impact of design changes.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, board, platform, and manufacturing teams, then document results in comprehensive validation reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of industry experience, or a relevant master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
• 4+ years of experience with pre-silicon validation techniques, tools, and debugging.
• 4+ years of experience with C, C++, Python, and scripting for automation and validation.
• 4+ years of experience with computer architecture and microarchitecture fundamentals.
• 4+ years of experience with emulation, preferably ZeBu or Palladium.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, splitting time between an assigned hirify.global site and off-site work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PCIe standards and compliance processes.
• GPU architecture knowledge and experience with FPGA prototyping or acceleration platforms.
• Experience developing validation protocols and strategies.
• Experience with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, in-circuit emulators, or Design for Debug tools.
• Knowledge of GPU AI benchmarks, rendering concepts, and industry-standard APIs.
