AI GPU Power Delivery Pathfinding Researcher (Power Delivery)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned Intel site and off-site work.

Annual salary: $141,910–$200,340 USD.

What you will do

• Develop and execute research projects in analog, mixed-signal, and digital circuit technologies.
• Design next-generation power delivery IPs and features for advanced process technology nodes.
• Perform circuit analysis, simulation, design verification, testing, and debugging of fabricated circuits.
• Research techniques for improved form factor, input voltage, efficiency, power density, bandwidth, and fast load-transient response.
• Partner with engineering teams to define product requirements and assess new technologies.
• Develop competitive analyses, proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and test chips while collaborating with academia and industry partners.

Requirements

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a specialization in power delivery.
• Expertise in switched-capacitor, inductor buck, linear, and hybrid power delivery circuits.
• Strong knowledge of analog electronics, semiconductor device physics, and electrical fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with circuit testing, signal integrity, power integrity, and analog behavior modeling.
• Ability to conduct detailed circuit design, analysis, and simulation.

• Scientific publications, patents, or industry collaborations demonstrating research leadership.
