Solutions Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Remote, based in the US Central Region; the posting also lists Nashville.

On-target earnings: $250,000–$330,000 annually, with potential equity and benefits.

Glean develops a Work AI platform combining enterprise search, an AI Assistant, AI agents, SaaS connectors, LLM integrations, and APIs on a secure platform.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Solutions Engineers through feedback, career development, talent planning, and performance management.
• Establish regional operating practices with Sales, including account planning, pipeline inspection, technical qualification, coverage planning, and prioritization.
• Set standards for technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, use-case workshops, pilots, and executive presentations.
• Coach teams on sales methodologies including Command of the Message and MEDDPICC.
• Build repeatable enablement programs and inspection mechanisms to improve execution quality across the region.
• Partner with Sales, Applied AI, Post-Sales, Product Management, PMM, and Engineering to improve customer outcomes and communicate product needs.

Requirements

• Experience hiring, developing, coaching, and retaining Solutions Engineers or comparable customer-facing technical talent.
• Experience leading complex enterprise opportunities involving technical discovery, solution strategy, demonstrations, workshops, and pilots.
• Technical fluency in APIs, integrations, cloud architecture, security, networking, and SaaS or hybrid environments.
• Strong AI fluency, including practical generative AI applications and considerations around data, security, governance, and adoption.
• Hands-on familiarity with GCP, AWS, or Microsoft Azure; experience with information security, cloud security, or audit frameworks is valuable.
• Clear communication, polished presentation skills, strong organization, business acumen, and customer-focused judgment.
