Manager, Applied AI Architects - Digital Natives, EMEA (AI)

Location: London, UK; hybrid policy requiring staff to work from one of the offices at least 25% of the time. The role includes regular travel across EMEA.

Annual compensation: £190,000–£230,000 GBP, including target commissions and annual base salary for sales roles.

What you will do

• Manage and mentor a distributed team of Applied AI Architects across EMEA, including goal setting, performance reviews, technical guidance, and career development.
• Lead AI adoption strategies for high-value digital-native customers through use-case scoping, technical champion development, and proof-of-concept delivery.
• Own technical pre-sales standards, compelling demonstrations, customer ROI validation, and solutions using Claude Enterprise, Claude Code, and the Claude API.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and EMEA GTM leadership to shape segment strategy and align stakeholders across regions.
• Guide customers through GDPR, the EU AI Act, data residency, security reviews, DPAs, and other European procurement requirements.
• Represent Anthropic through conferences, meetups, webinars, technical content, executive sessions, and technical workshops across EMEA.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or in a similar pre-sales technical role.
• 3+ years of experience managing pre-sales or technical GTM teams, ideally across multiple EMEA markets.
• Experience working with digital-native companies such as SaaS, consumer technology, fintech, PaaS, or developer platforms.
• Deep technical proficiency with API integrations, production LLM use cases, AI-powered system architecture, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of developer tooling, SDKs, modern software integration patterns, and how large language models are built and operated.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and professional experience required; visa sponsorship is available subject to role and candidate eligibility.

• Experience building foundational teams in unstructured, fast-moving environments.
