Healthcare Regulatory Attorney (HealthTech)

Location: Remote within the United States, with hybrid flexibility from offices in Los Angeles or New York.

Salary: $200K–$225K annually, plus equity.

Healthcare technology platform combining software, data, services, and AI to help providers resolve underpaid claims and recover fair reimbursement.

What you will do

• Advise on provider billing, payer reimbursement, and health plan disputes.
• Negotiate directly with health plans to resolve payment disputes and recover provider reimbursement.
• Build a repeatable process for collecting arbitration awards as dispute volume grows.
• Evaluate litigation strategies and develop pre-litigation escalation plans.
• Translate healthcare regulatory requirements into product systems, operational tools, and platform features.
• Review vendor agreements, BAAs, NDAs, and MSAs, and advise the business on general legal matters.

Requirements

• Mid-level healthcare regulatory attorney experience from a top law firm or healthcare organization.
• HealthTech or healthcare technology experience.
• Experience with IDR or No Surprises Act disputes.
• Experience working directly with state or federal regulators.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
