Corporate Counsel, Clinical Contracts (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $158,000–$185,000 USD annually, with potential bonus, stock, benefits, and other variable compensation.

hirify.global is a biopharmaceutical oncology company developing therapies and conducting global Phase 3 clinical studies for serious unmet medical needs, including non-small cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer.

What you will do

• Draft, review, analyze, negotiate, and execute clinical trial agreements and related ancillary agreements.
• Handle investigator-sponsored studies, collaboration and development agreements, sponsored research agreements, and contracts with clinical research organizations.
• Support additional consulting, vendor, technology, HR, lease, confidentiality, and services agreements as needed.
• Partner with clinical, quality, medical affairs, finance, research and development, HR, IT, regulatory, compliance, intellectual property, and other internal functions.
• Identify contractual risks, propose business-oriented alternatives, respond to complex inquiries, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain contract templates, track agreements, and support the contract management process.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and admission to a US state bar in good standing.
• At least 5 years of major law firm and/or in-house experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare company.
• At least 2 years of experience reviewing and negotiating US and ex-US Clinical Trial Agreements.
• Strong legal drafting, analysis, communication, organization, planning, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Knowledge of regulations, statutes, industry guidelines, and data privacy requirements affecting pharmaceutical research, development, and commercial contracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Access; ability to work independently, collaboratively, and under competing priorities.
