SVP, Technology Strategy & Operations (AI)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global headquarters in San Diego, California, United States; remote work is not available.

Salary: $185,000–$225,000 per year, plus discretionary annual cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 15% each.

What you will do

• Lead technology strategy, delivery standards, continuous improvement, and transformation across seven technology verticals.
• Implement and measure an AI-driven development lifecycle across planning, coding, testing, and delivery workflows.
• Own organizational change management, release sequencing, go/no-go decisions, and enterprise delivery readiness.
• Personally lead major cross-vertical initiatives and take operational ownership of at-risk programs until they return to a healthy status.
• Oversee productivity, capacity, utilization, organizational design, vendor relationships, DORA metrics, and board-level reporting across a 500+ person technology organization.
• Align OKRs, budgets, resources, and strategic portfolio execution across Consumer Bank, Securities, and Enterprise Technology.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technology leadership experience with direct, hands-on program and delivery management.
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and turning around failing technical programs.
• Experience running organizational change management at scale, using ADKAR, Prosci, or an equivalent approach.
• Experience managing workforce productivity, capacity planning, utilization analysis, and organizational design in a complex technology organization.
• Experience implementing AI-driven development practices at scale with measurable adoption and productivity or quality impact.
• Experience managing technology vendors, strategic portfolios, OKRs, and senior management or board-level reporting; regulated-industry experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Banking or capital-markets technology experience involving core banking, securities or clearing, and data platforms.
• Experience leading program recovery in a regulated environment.
• Experience designing or rolling out an AI-driven development lifecycle across multiple engineering teams.
• Formal certification or equivalent depth in organizational change management or workforce effectiveness.
