Lead Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: US - Austin, TX; hybrid schedule with at least 3 days in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $164,700–$263,600 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead complex, high-visibility technical programs across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, Operations, and Business teams.
• Own program strategy, planning, governance, operating cadence, executive communications, milestones, funding, and success metrics.
• Coordinate large-scale software development programs using the Agentic Squad Model and modern SDLC practices from initiation through deployment.
• Manage dependencies, risks, impediments, budgets, forecasts, resource strategies, and critical-path activities across multiple organizations.
• Improve delivery predictability, reliability, security, compliance, availability, resiliency, and operational excellence using data, DORA and Flow metrics, dashboards, and predictive insights.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled delivery practices, GenAI tools, automation, organizational change, and continuous improvement across engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, 7+ years with an advanced degree, 4+ years with a PhD, or 13+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience delivering large, complex, cross-functional programs across global organizations.
• Expertise in Agentic Squads, Agile, SAFe, Lean, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of architecture patterns, APIs, cloud technologies, security, reliability, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Experience using enterprise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe SPC or RTE, Lean Six Sigma, Microsoft AI, Azure AI, Data & AI, Generative AI, or Prompt Engineering certifications.
• Experience in financial services or payment networks.
