Financial Operations Associate

Location: Denver, CO or Kansas City, MO; hybrid with on-site work required at least 6 days per month. Working hours are 8 AM–5 PM Central Time.

Salary: $45,000–$105,000 USD base salary annually in Colorado; discretionary bonus and/or equity may also be available.

What you will do

• Facilitate client money movement, reconcile bank accounts, and prepare share and cash reporting.
• Enter and release wires in banking systems and perform quality control of manual outgoing wires.
• Research exception items, resolve escalations, and minimize open items through root-cause and trend analysis.
• Audit completed work, maintain processing standards, and ensure client needs are met.
• Develop and document process improvements, workflows, and procedures.
• Train and guide associates by sharing operational knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial services, banking, reconciliation, accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to trace issues to their source and drive resolution.
• Willingness to work on site at least 6 days per month and during 8 AM–5 PM Central Time hours.
