Senior Operational Risk Management Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States; primary location listed as Greenwood Village, Colorado. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base salary: $114,000–$165,300 per year, with potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Execute key components of the Operational Risk Management framework and provide independent risk oversight and credible challenge to the First Line of Defense.
• Lead operational risk assessments and evaluate complex processes, risk information, data, and control effectiveness.
• Identify emerging issues, trends, control gaps, and operational process breakpoints.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop risk mitigation, remediation, and control enhancements.
• Partner with business and support functions to create and monitor corrective action plans.
• Prepare and communicate operational risk reporting for senior management and risk committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a similar risk and control function.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, executive presence, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to independently analyze complex processes, risks, and controls and exercise sound risk judgment.
• Execution-oriented and results-driven approach.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is unavailable.
