Loan Operations Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite at 70 W Madison St, Floor 9

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Incentive compensation and a discretionary bonus may also apply.

What you will do

• Complete the final processing steps for loan closings and disburse loan funds.
• Service loans by processing payments, advances, and payoffs.
• Maintain loan systems and prepare cashier’s checks for loan advances.
• Monitor incoming wire mailboxes and review operational reports.
• Investigate unapplied or rejected funds and resolve open reconciliation items.
• Follow hirify.global risk controls and escalate issues that may create adverse client, market, or reputational outcomes.

Requirements

• At least one year of similar loan service experience.
• Strong computer skills and an organized, detail-oriented approach.
• Working knowledge of IBS (Metavante) and ACBS loan systems, or comparable loan applications.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States at the specified location is required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Ability to complete required corporate and business-specific training and follow applicable policies, controls, and risk procedures.
